OOTD - 07 May 2012

A somewhat photo heavy OOTD for ya'll.
I have been lacking with them lately, my bad!

Rings: Matalan & Primark.

You know, my hair colour is still doing quite alright considering the last time I dyed it was like 2 months ago!!
I have some greys hanging out there, just partying it up on my parting in the front, but I'm just gonna rock that look for now!

Still loving these boots, theyre so hardy and sturdy!
Certainly worth the minimal £14.99 I paid for them!

Belt from Primark

FOTD is in my previous post.

What I Wore:
Black Tank Top - Primark
Gray/Blue Tank Top - Primark
Black Cardigans - Tesco & Primark
Black Leggings - Primark
Belt - Primark
Striped Skirt - Matalan (dress worn as skirt)
Boots - Asda
Scarf - South Africa

Please forgive my horrible looking mug, it was 5am, and I was SUPER tired :/

Collection 2000 & OPI nails.

Oops, sorry for bra shot there!

FOTD & NOTD - 07 May 2012

NOTD firstly.
Coral & Pink "2 tone".

OPI Pink Flamenco & Collection 2000 name unknown

The Collection 2000 came out more of a coral orange than a pink which is an even better result!
I was going for a two tone pink kinda thing. But this looks even better!!

Cute pop of colour with the darker pink.
I do LOVE this OPI colour, it is heavily pigmented, this was with just one coat of OPI and 2 of Collection 2000.

Onto the FOTD.

What I Used:
Collection 2000 Foundation in Sand
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent
Collection 2000 Blush in Bashful
Collection 2000 Eye Definer in Dark Brown (eyeliner)
Collection 2000 Cream Eyeshadow in Copper Pot
Collection 2000 Trio in Rain Forest (the lightest colour used as highlight)
Collection 2000 Fat Lash Mascara in Darkest Brown
Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Lipstick in Sweet Tart
Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm (which I won, check out the details here)

Please do forgive the red eyes, these pictures were just taken at about 5am!
I have been favouring this look recently.
I usually go for very bright eyes, but for some reason lately I have just been using 3 eye products, The Collection 2000 Cream Eyeshadows and a Collection 2000 Eyeshadow Trio <-- top right item.
I have been going for coppers and golds, or golds and browns.
It works well for a simple look which I can literally do in 5 minutes.

Anyways ... that's my face and nails for tonight!

Movie Date ... with myself.

So I don't know about any of you guys, but I have never gone to the cinema alone before.

And I really wanted to see The Avengers. So I decided I was going to go to the cinema and just enjoy it!
Who says you have to go with someone?!!?

So I went to see The Avengers, which was just amazing!
If you have not seen any of the other character's films, then it might be a bit confusing to you, however, I don't think that you would have a terrible time following this movie.
It's very funny, and if you HAVE actually seen the other films, then this will just be like a "mind blown" sort of situation for you!

I also watched American Pie The Reunion.
And as you may have guessed, it is just filled with all the usual American Pie shenanigans!
It really didnt fail to provide the giggles!

Before watching American Pie, I went to Frankie & Benny's for a bit of food.
I have a portion of Calamari, and a side fries.
Was great!

I really would recommend going to the cinema alone if you are ever in need of a quick cheer up!
You son't have to fight about what film to watch, what kind of popcorn to get, what drink to get and who is paying, and you also don't have that annoying bit of trying to figure out who gets which arm rest!

It was such a great day, and I barely even spent that much!

If you are going to go to a Cineworld, I'd suggest going online to Cinerworld and go to the mycineworld section, register, it only takes a few minutes.
AND
you get 10% off all ticket prices!
Then all you do is book them and get them from the ticket dispensers at the cinema, and presto, no queues!

Graze Box Update

Just a quick thank you to the lovelies who have signed up to receive Graze boxes with my code.
Because of those lovely girls, I have received £4.00 to give to the Ugandan Farming School.

I know that £4.00 doesn't seem like a lot of money, but any help is good!
And for me to be able to help in this way just because of you guys, is so lovely!
Here's some info below about the school itself!

"Our school of farming is based in Kabubbu, a village in the heart of rural Uganda.
Students are taught how to grow, maintain and then harvest fruit from their own trees. Graduates are then given support by Mr. Augustine Napagi (the head teacher) throughout their first few years of farming to make sure their orchards grow as much fruit as possible.
The amazing thing about the school is that it provides our graduates with a sustainable source of income. Each student is given the means to grow food for themselves, their families and to sell at local markets.
Every penny donated to the school is spent on the ground in Uganda so it’s well worth donating your feed your friends rewards."

Use this code --> M5X7K49 and go to graze.com to get your first box free!

So thanks for those who did use the code, you have just donated £1.00 each to the Ugandan Farming School!

Photo A Day April

Like I said a couple of weeks or so ago, I am consciously trying to take part in the Photo A Day challenge which Chantelle holds each month.

Now admittedly that has proven to be a task with the on goings of the past 2 weeks'ish, but I kinda managed to do it!
I did originally plan to do it week by week and do a weekly update but I just kept forgetting to update it.
So here is the full months challenge!

your reflection/colour/mail/someone who makes you happy/tiny/lunch
shadow/inside your wallet/younger you/cold/where you ate breakfast/stairs
something you found/how you feel today/sunset/flower/something you don't like/hair
orange/something you drew/bottle/the last thing you bought/vegetable/something you're grateful for
looking down/black&white/somewhere you went/1pm/circle/something that makes you sad

#4 someone who makes you happy: when I started this challenge, Rick and I were still together, so I'm not going to change that picture. It's part of the month and I don't need to change things in my past!

That's the Photo A Day challenge for April ...
I ACTUALLY DID IT!

And here are some other pictures I took throughout the month.
